About Us
Wells-Halima Entertainment was formed in 2005 by the dynamic
team of Nikki Wells and Shelley Halima. The two of them bring
over a decade of entertainment and business experience to WHE.
Nikki Wells, a proud member of NABFEME, (National
Association of Black Female Executives in Music &
Entertainment, Inc.) is a 15 year industry veteran with a career
spanning in business administration, teaching, trade shows,
product development, modeling, marketing, broadcast, print
journalism, community activism, radio, TV production, script, film
co-production, photography, management, event planning,
consulting, graphic design, acquisitions, booking. Ms. Wells is
also CEO of Wells Media and Dyenamic Marketing and will
serve as Executive Producer and co-director on Fiesta.
Shelley Halima is a writer/producer. Her first novel Azucar
Moreno was released in December 2004 through Simon &
Schuster/StreborBooks and garnered praises from the likes of
NBA star Chris Webber, fellow authors such as Tracy
Thompson-Price, readers and reviewers. Her second novel, Los
Morenos was released in January 2006 and her third novel,
Blinding Mirror will be released Fall/2008. She also has a story in
the popular erotica anthology Chocolate Seduction. Shelley's
screenplay for Fiesta is scheduled to begin filming soon in
Michigan. One of her songs, Let It Flow, was recently produced
and performed by American Idol's Devin Johnson for his
upcoming CD.
